I have to admit, as a teacher I am sometimes nervous and cringing for my clients or students when I have to give them a hard exercise that goes on for a long time.
I know it will be painful, I know it will be hard, but I also know that when they go through the experience, they are going to receive a little present of kundalini rising with sweet taste of accomplishment.
Some might wonder though – Isn’t yoga just few stretches and meditation basically a quiet sleepy time?
That’s not what Kundalini yoga is about. I have done meditations when sweat was dripping from my face, when I was frustrated and in pain. But I knew this particular pain was not going to hurt me, I knew this is good for me and instead of giving up I grinned enthusiastically 🙂
