Anxiety and depression are mental states in which mind has been habitually or culturally programmed to perceive limitations, dead ends and catastrophes.
Yet I am here to remind you, there are no dead ends or catastrophes, there are only new ways and new experiences.
Yes they can be unpleasant, dangerous, unusual but they are part of life the same way as good and happy times.
Happiness is not a state that needs to be safely guarded. Happiness is wild, momentous thing that needs to be enjoyed as it comes.
We live in an infinite universe. We live in a body with infinite amount of untapped energy. We are souls that roams the hallways of times ad infinitum. Each doorway being new experience to focus on, each doorway of time, new, grand challenge to accomplish. The experience though never ends. It goes on forever.
When you meditate on this infinite progress of energy, there is no rush to get anywhere, there is no limit to what you have.
Your soul craves this infinite experience because that’s where it finds peace and home. Your mind suffers in limitations you impose on it.
The peace you feel when you meditate or when you pray or see something incredibly beautiful is a taste of infinity.
“The one that meditates on perfect peace all pain and sorrow depart. “ Guru Nanak
