Bhagavad Gita stands on a strong foundation of Sankhaya Indian philosophy and explains some of the key concepts that we use in yoga like 3 gunas, maya, purusha and prakriti and others. I wish we studied this text in my yoga teacher training.
I have learned and am still learning so much from Krishna, it has given me a strong foundation for my meditation practice and for spiritual wisdom.
