This party is about to begin!
We start Thursday June 12th. The full moon is at 12:13am June 13th EDT so we are really capitalizing on this exciting vibrant energy of the moon. Let it inspire you.
Here are few initial guidelines:
1. Pick a time of the day when you are most likely to be free and able to meditate. Please consider that as the day goes by you might get more and more busy and could forget to do your practice.
2. Pick your music. It is easier for you to follow the mantra. Here are few choices. I like Snatam’s song because it goes for exactly 11 minutes which is the length of the meditation.
Jai-Jagdeesh “Aad Guray Nameh” (there is quite an intro so please be patient)
Nirinjan Kaur “Aad Guray Nameh”
Mirabai Ceiba “Aad Guray Nameh”
Gurunam Singh “Aad Guray Nameh”
3. VERY IMPORTANT – Tune in before each meditation with the mantra “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo”.
There are 2 reasons for it:
First, you are calling on to your higher self or your inner teacher and the second reason is you are showing respect to all the teachers that came before us and delivered these meditations in their pure form.
Here is great instructional video on how to tune in. The actual tuning in is at 2:08
4. Instruction on how to do the meditation is in this video
5. You can print this PDF and put it on your fridge so you’ll remember to meditate every day 🙂
